The Fellowship of the Rosy Cross was founded in 1916 by A. E. Waite (1857-1952), best known for creating the Rider-Waite tarot deck as well as being one of the foremost esoteric scholars of his time.  Arthur Edward Waite The order was established in England in 1916, where there remains a Temple. It was transported to NZ in 1992, in Christchurch. There are now meeting places in Hawke's Bay, Wellington, Christchurch and in Melbourne, Australia. |
